Overview:

As a Recruitment Events Coordinator (Coordinator III) at the Huntsman School of Business you will be planning and executing high-caliber recruiting events for the Huntsman School, both on and off-campus. Responsibilities include coordinating ambassador attendance, managing travel logistics, overseeing event budgets, and ensuring compliance with university guidelines. The role also requires collaborating with the Huntsman Marketing Team to develop marketing materials and co-advising the Business Ambassador Team. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in recruiting or a related field, event coordination skills, project management proficiency, and excellent communication abilities. Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM software is preferred, along with experience in public relations, marketing, and supervising students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute high-caliber recruiting events showcasing the Huntsman School, both on and off-campus for prospective students. Key events include USU Aggie Invite (DECA and FBLA presentations), USU/Covey Emerging Leaders, Huntsman Alumni Open Houses, Huntsman Day in the Life, Huntsman Business Days, and others.)
  • Coordinate Ambassador attendance at all USU-hosted recruiting events on and off-campus.
  • Manage travel logistics for off-campus events, including travel authorizations, reimbursements, and motor pool arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Recruiting and Huntsman Marketing Team to develop and develop distribution plans for marketing materials for events.
  • Oversee event budgets, making day-to-day spending decisions with discretion and judgment.
  • Coordinate with Huntsman and University personnel (Venue Coordinators, Contract Services, etc.) to ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Co-advise the Business Ambassador Team (20-25 students) in recruitment efforts, including hiring, training, and management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Gain extensive knowledge of the Huntsman School's offerings, faculty, and the recruitment funnel from prospect to enrollment.
  • Support the Recruiter in engaging high school influencers, developing relationships with community influencers, and presenting at high schools.
  • Conduct Huntsman School information tours and respond to inquiries from students, parents, and employers.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting, admissions, student services, marketing, or a related area, or a bachelor's degree.
  • Extensive experience in event development, coordination, and execution.
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Highly organized in managing personal and delegated tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong public speaking experience.
  • Ability to engage with diverse audiences, including students, parents, educators, community members, and alumni.
  • Understanding and appreciation of higher education.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and social media, and willingness to learn new software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Recruiter CRM software.
  • Experience with Signal Vine or similar texting platforms.
  • Background in public relations or marketing.
  • Strong computer skills and web publishing experience.
  • Experience supervising students or student groups.
