This role involves managing the full life cycle of recruitment for healthcare professionals and front-line staff, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retention. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying top talent, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and contributing to staff retention efforts through stay interviews and strategic engagement initiatives.Responsibilities:Primary:Recruitment & Sourcing:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract and source qualified healthcare professionals using job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and organizational culture.
Interviewing & Selection:
- Conduct pre-screening calls, coordinate interviews, and provide feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
- Ensure all candidates have a positive and professional interview experience.
- Facilitate decision-making and offer negotiation processes.
Secondary:Onboarding:
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a smooth transition into the organization.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, licensure verification, and training schedules.
- Act as a resource for new hires to address questions and concerns during their initial employment period.
Retention & Engagement:
- Conduct stay interviews to understand and improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement initiatives aimed at reducing turnover.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics and employee feedback to enhance hiring and retention strategies.
Other functions that may be required with this position include:
- Support company and departmental business goals by meeting/exceeding individual placement objectives by independent sourcing of candidates with minimal use of outside agencies.
- Partner closely with Hiring Managers to understand staffing and operational needs and to develop recruitment strategies to source and secure qualified candidates. Provide ideas and direction to find the ideal candidates.
- Manage relationships with internal and external sourcing resources in order to fill the position in a timely and cost effectively matter.
- Serve as the liaison between the candidate and management during the interview and selection process. Consult and advise hiring managers on overall hiring process, collaborate on job requisition details and creation, and advise on effective candidate assessment/interview techniques.
- Consistently update applicant tracking system and hiring managers in a timely manner to ensure that hiring requirements are met.
- Identifying viable client prospects from various sources including directories, contact lists, databases, leads, internet resources, and personal networking
- Place employment advertisements in various print media, approved Internet sites, agencies, schools.
- Attend recruitment events, career fairs, networking events and open houses, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare roles, certifications, and licensure requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards related to healthcare recruitment.
- Experience with employee engagement or retention initiatives.
