745457 Recruitment/Student Support Assistant (Part-time), Wellesley Hills, MA, 3 Months Contract to Permanent Sigma,Inc is looking for a Recruitment/Student Support Assistant (Part-time) to work onsite with our client in Wellesley Hills, MA.This is with Commonwealth of MA and MassBay Community College. Will be required to work onsite at 50 Oakland Street.Shift timings : 18 hours/week and 5 days/weekDescription :MassBay fosters educational excellence and academic success to prepare students for local and global citizenship, to meet critical workforce demands of communities, and to contribute to the region's economic development.The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have a desire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is a part-time, non-unit position with no benefits.We seek a Recruitment Assistant to support our recruitment and onboarding endeavors. Key responsibilities will include managing and overseeing the student employment process working closely with hiring managers, financial aid, and students. The incumbent will work on processes to improve on-campus student employment and provide exceptional services to student employees and hiring managers. Your contribution will be instrumental in ensuring our hiring process is streamlined and efficient. If you have prior experience in student employment/ recruitment and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, we would be delighted to meet you.KeyResponsibilities and Duties:
  • Coordinate student employment-relatedactivities, including but not limited to preparing and posting jobs, processingbackground checks, managing student employment mailbox, etc.;
  • Educate and assist students with necessary stepsrelated to the student employment process;
  • Interact with students via email and phone,addressing questions or concerns in a timely manner;
  • Maintain candidate database; handle records andpaperwork;
  • Ensure students complete onboarding paperworktimely;
  • Assist with student onboarding process (e.g.,preparing documents, meeting with new hires, submitting IT access requests,etc.);
  • Plan & and organize on-campus job fairs inpartnership with Financial Aid and Career Services;
  • Assist in recruiting activities as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Human Resources Management or related field;
  • One year of Human Resources, administrative, or clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, andexperience;
  • Familiarity with hiring practices and stages(screening, interview, onboarding);
  • Ability to work independently and as part of ateam;
  • Strong organizational and time managementskills;
  • Great attention to detail;
  • Outstanding communication skills;
  • Problem-solving ability.
