Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Previous manufacturing or construction experience.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
• Basic Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and their environmental impact preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil.
• Able to use hand and power tools, including metal cutting saws preferred
• Works with a positive attitude and is a team player.
• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
• Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Able to handle and sort different materials.

Job Description:

A Teardown/Recycle Tech (I) at our Lennox AES location in Weatherford, TX is responsible for the safe and efficient recovery and reclamation of parts from HVAC systems. They play a crucial role in environmental sustainability by ensuring the proper handling, recycling, and disposal of HVAC components, in compliance with industry regulations.

The Compensation for this position is $18 per hour. (Opportunity for Over Time!)

JOB DUTIES (not limited to):

• Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficient and thorough recovery.
• Handle and sort materials through the reclaim process.
• Identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in all reclaim activities.
• Cross train and help in other areas depending on workload.
