Starting pay for this position is between $20.30 - $29.00/hour depending on experience.
Must be willing to performing preventative maintenance (PM's) and repairs on refrigeration equipment like air compressors, HVAC, MAUS, cooling coils, boilers/steam and the potable water system and temping carcasses to ensure temperature specifications are met. Conduct rounds to monitor and document readings for operational purposes. Must be willing to use manuals, understand manuals, scheduling sheets and complete reports as needed. Must be willing to become certified in Lock-Out/Tag Out, Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry. Must be able and willing to use a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and air purified respirators (APR). Must be willing to work in extreme hot and cold environments, with seasonal winter temperatures below zero and summer temperatures up to 110 degrees.
Must be willing and able to lift 60 lbs. occasionally.
