If you are driven, committed to personal growth, dedicated to your craft, and always willing to go the extra mile for clients, we want to speak with you!Exciting Responsibilities of a Refrigeration Rack Technician:Work Hours: Dive into your day from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime as needed. Home every night! Customer Service: Deliver top-notch customer service at a variety of retail businesses, including restaurants, delis, grocery stores, convenience stores, schools, hotels, hospitals, and military bases.Repairs and Maintenance: Jump into action to restore refrigeration racks and systems to peak performance! This includes compressor changes, rack refrigeration repairs, and handling failures.Respond immediately to rack failures to save the day and prevent product spoilage.Prioritize safety by securing the area and shutting down power if necessary.Assess the situation to pinpoint the root cause and determine the extent of the failure.Perform repairs and quality checks to ensure everything is running smoothly.Communicate with relevant parties, including store managers, supervisors, and your team, about expected downtime, progress, and preventive measures.Additional Tasks: Tackle ESR replacements, energy management system repairs, HVAC repair and preventive maintenance, split condensing unit repairs/replacements, leak detection and repairs, self-contained unit maintenance, ice machine upkeep, heat pump servicing, and controls troubleshooting.General Maintenance: Conduct general and preventive maintenance tasks with enthusiasm, exhibit mechanical proficiency and technical aptitude, approach challenges with curiosity and innovation, demonstrate reliability and consistency, and effectively communicate with clients, teammates, and management.Time Management: Masterfully manage time and resources to control costs, enhance efficiencies, and meet commitments.Technical Skills: Operate HVAC/R diagnostic equipment, weld and braze with an open flame, handle hazardous chemicals, and utilize necessary portable hand tools. Be certified to properly handle refrigerant for systems.What You Need to Succeed:A valid Driver's License.EPA Universal Certification.Basic knowledge of HVAC and commercial refrigeration.Ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.Exceptional communication skills for interactions with clients, team members, and management.Capability to thrive under high pressure in high-stress environments.A self-starter mentality, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.Openness to additional responsibilities as they arise.Ability to obtain additional licenses and certifications as appropriate.Proficiency in operating a smartphone, tablet, and/or laptop.
