Position Overview:As a Refrigeration Technician, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across our facility, influencing company performance by maintaining our equipment. You'll be a vital part of our team, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations through proactive problem-solving and maintenance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Interact effectively with all plant personnel to achieve plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Requirements:
- Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., industrial maintenance diploma or current enrollment in technical school) in lieu of experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role, with in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
Special Skills:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
- Ability to perform repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling, and frequent overhead work.
- Work in varying temperatures, from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees, with potential outdoor work.
Important Notes:
- Applicants will be considered for Associate, General, and Senior Refrigeration Technician positions, with leveling determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.

Work Schedule:
- Both Day and Night shifts are available.
- Pay is determined by experience and is paid weekly.
