How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Region Recruiter will provide support to regional business leaders to successfully fill positions across multiple categories and levels, including but not limited to commercial drivers, production operators, plant managers, inside sales representatives, and outside sales/account managers. This position will work closely with the hiring managers and human resource department to provide both transactional and strategic talent acquisition support and fill critical roles expeditiously.

Target Annual Salary: 85K - 95K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Sources candidates by placing job advertisements, using media and/or newsgroups, and job boards (internal and external).
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Conducts phone interviews with qualified candidates, evaluates qualifications before referring candidates to hiring managers. Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules and setting up meeting invites with appropriate documents and interview materials.
  • Coaches Hiring Managers on best recruitment, interview, and hiring practices.
  • May work with department managers to arrange and manage temporary staffing needs.
  • Produces and maintains reporting metrics of recruiting activity for the Region.
  • Assists HR Manager with new hire orientation.
  • Strong knowledge and utilization of all recruitment tools including but not limited to Applicant Tracking system, 3rd party resume databases, proprietary candidate portals, social media channels, and other external recruitment tools currently being utilized.
  • Assist in creating, developing, and maintaining best practices to support field recruitment efforts.
  • Responsible for recruiting by attending various events and recruiting activities at career fairs as a company representative.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal business leaders, hiring managers, and leaders across multiple functional fields to ensure hiring needs are being properly addressed.
  • Consults with line management on compensation issues regarding employment offers, commission and bonus programs necessary to continue to attract candidates.
  • Uses ATS to process offer letters and background screening and new hire documents. Works closely with hiring managers to present verbal offers to internal and external candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of five years of related recruiting experience.
  • Current human resource certification from HRCI or SHRM is highly recommended.
  • Advanced knowledge of ATS programs (Taleo preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Adequate computer skills.
  • Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
