Position OverviewAs the Region Route Relief Representative, you will assist multiple location managers in planning and relieving assigned routes. Our Region Route Relief Representatives are a crucial to preventing interruptions in service to our customers! Function Related Activities/Key ResponsibilitiesWorks with sales manager(s) to plan route relief schedules in advancePerforms route relief to deliver products, equipment and supplies to existing customersTrain new Grocery Division and Coffee Service Division teammates including merchandisers, delivery drivers, route sales representatives or other key rolesSolicits existing customers to purchase additional productsCollects payments from customers.Maintains proper selection and inventory of products for each customerRecords and maintains sales, inventory and delivery informationResponsible for loading and maintaining truck inventoryEnsures freshness of products on shelfEnsures customer satisfactionResponsible for maintaining coffee brewing equipment on routeParticipates in tradeshows and special events to promote the company's products and servicesResponsible for route's daily bank depositsCleans truck and performs routine maintenanceMay be requested to perform different or additional duties as assignedTravel Requirements> 60% with occasional weekend travelPrimary responsibility for Memphis, TN; Birmingham, AL; Jackson, TNMay occasionally be required to support other locations Position RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredOne year of relevant customer sales and service experienceExperience with Community Coffee, even if unrelated, may fulfill this requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager with approval from Human ResourcesRoute sales and cold calling experience in DSD environment preferredMust be at least 21 years of ageValid Driver's license required; A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required for certain work locations.
