Regional Account Manager

As a Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts within your assigned region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding their needs, providing expert guidance on our products or services, and cultivating long-term relationships to maximize revenue opportunities. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong sales acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Let's talk about the role:

* Foster and establish strong customer relationships with our medium sized independent accounts.

* Plan and execute sales strategies within assigned accounts, and grow revenue to meet and exceed sales targets

* Work with field sales team to strategize support goals for top accounts

* Responsible for setting and achieving revenue goals in line with a company growth plan.

* Set sales objectives and metrics, forecast revenue, manage pipeline, and track sales progress

* Represent ResMed professionally as the subject matter expert on products and solutions

* Negotiate pricing, rebate agreements & conduct quarterly business reviews with key customers.

* Actively monitor customer commitments and ensure accountability.

* Enhance customer relationships through proactive virtual customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, product in-services, and problem resolution.

* Collaborate closely with internal teams, to drive alignment and deliver value to customers

* Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance knowledge and skills and contribute to team success

Let's talk about you:

* Excellence in all forms of virtual communication with command of product and media presentations, especially via webinars, video conferencing, etc., using a variety of technologies

* Strong understanding of sales techniques, processes, and methodologies, with the ability to effectively manage the entire sales cycle.

* Ability to accurately forecast revenue

* Strong negotiating and closing skills

* Excellent written and oral communication

* Team player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude

* Experience using Salesforce (SFDC) or a similar CRM platform.

* Light travel may be required.

* Proven track record of success in inside sales, account management, or a similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the medical device industry.

* Prior top-ranked medical device, business-to-business (B2B) Sales experience is highly preferred.
