Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Regional Closing Trainer in the Training Department. The right candidate will support Closing Center in training and development of all staff within the Closing Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Support the Regional Closing Manager by providing training, processing support, and management support within the region
  • Provide support to the National Closing Training Department
  • Complete onboarding training, test case completion and any follow up training with new hires
  • Work closely with closing leadership to ensure all company policies and procedures are consistently followed
  • Periodically provide instruction during new hire training classes
  • In addition to training duties, carry a pipeline of pending closings as necessary during peak volume times
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention detail
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Human Resources a plus
