Qualifications
Position Summary
The Regional Compliance Coordinator ensures all FDA and FSMA compliance are followed at locations. Ingredients and products remain compliant, meet LNC's quality standard, and ensure the feed safety of all employees, customers, and practices within their assigned region. The compliance coordinator must have quality assurance experience in a processing environment, preferably in the feed and/or grain industry.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Assess and update facilities' Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs.
* Ability to make recommendations for Compliance requirements.
* Assist with registration and renewal of licenses and feed tags.
* Work with the Facility Managers to meet all QA processes and controls.
* Ensure locations meet and follow all FDA and FSMA regulations.
* Conduct compliance training at the location level.
* Review and update SOPs, CGMPs, and training documentation.
* Provide monthly/weekly reports to Safety and Compliance Manager
* Attend educational seminars to stay up to date with state and federal regulations.
* Conduct medication reconciliation assessments and finished product yield tolerances.
* Review mycotoxin testing procedures and results throughout the region.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Professionally conduct all activities.
* Other assignments as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science Degree or 3+ years of successful experience in a quality assurance role in a feed, pet, or food processing environment.
* Certified training of PCQI/HACCP.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
* Dedication to team environment.
* Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast and ever-changing environment.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as FSMA guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to solve practical problems.
* Proficiency in computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Safety mindset.
* Ability to travel up to 50% to conduct facility assessments.
* Potential hybrid work after 90-day probation.
