What You Can Expect In This RoleResponsible for developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies by partnering with the Business Development Managers and assigned broker dealers. Promote and increase the sales of Sammons Retirement Solutions' and Midland Retirement Distributors products. Manage broker dealer relationships in conjunction with external partners based on the requirements established by Sammons Institutional Group (SIG). What You'll Do In This Role•Provide start to finish sales and marketing support for Tier 2 and Tier 3 broker dealers. Provide marketing materials, explain sales concepts and ideas and create sales opportunities. •Provide backup sales, marketing and any additional coverage needed to Top 25 and Tier 1 broker dealers in partnership with the Business Development Managers. Assist in the completion of projects for Top 25 and Tier 1 broker dealers. •Provide reactive coverage for lower tier broker dealers by acting as the assigned point of contact for sales and marketing. Serve as subject matter expertise (SME) to SIG sales teams, sales management and senior leadership. Use proactive communication to further develop existing relationships and open new broker dealer opportunities. •Prepare reports and presentations to promote in the product and marketing collateral approval processes. Manage marketing approvals on an ongoing basis. •Effectively probe to uncover the business opportunities available at the broker dealer and interpret how we fit in and what we can offer to drive sales and assets and build relationships with broker dealers' established sales process. Create plans for presenting SIG products and offerings to support broker dealers in meeting their business needs while remaining flexible in discovering more about their business and where our products can support their needs; determine what is appropriate to offer. •Execute consistent follow up with broker dealers to advance the sales process and deepen relationships including follow up sales calls, manage problem resolutions, thank you calls and running and emailing illustrations and necessary paperwork. •Navigate the organization to provide problem resolution assistance to broker dealers within the territory. This includes providing a high level of customer service and leveraging resources to make recommendations and guide selection of final resolution. Responsible for communicating resolution to the broker dealers. •Generate ideas and help create content of emails and messaging to broker dealers. •Stay current on investment strategies and trends in the financial industry. •Maintain a positive image of the company in work actions and interactions with other's serving as a representative of the organization. •Commitment to embrace Sammons Financial Group Companies shared values (Accountability, Connection, Openness, Respect and Integrity). •As stated within the Company Attendance and Punctuality policy, regular attendance is required and expected in order to meet the business service levels and workflow demands.•Participate in other initiatives and/or projects as necessary. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Minimum 5 years' Annuity and/or mutual fund industry experience Preferred
- Excellent presentation skills and public speaking skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to allow for collaborative work effort
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales plans
- Knowledge of the retail retirement products
- Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external resources, vendors as well as other departments
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Professional maturity to effectively interface with financial advisors
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage territory
- Series License-63 or ability to obtain within 120 Days Required
- Series License-6 or ability to obtain within 120 Days Required
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) or ability to obtain within 120 Days Required
- Agent License Resident state insurance license or ability to obtain within 120 Days Required
- Travel as needed to assist with broker dealer conference and back office visits (up to 10 times per year) may be required.

Salary Range InformationUSD $60,119.00 - USD $125,247.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
