Must be able to operate computer using agency approved programs, and other office machines such as fax, calculator, telephone, and so on. Requires walking, sitting, standing, bending and reaching. Normally requires lifting to 25 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Must handle novel and diverse work problems daily. Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure. Must have a long attention span in order to listen to people, perceive the real problems and bring issues to a successful conclusion. Must have the ability to work with people from various ethnic groups in a culturally competent manner.Position Summary: The Regional Director Southeast will be responsible for the oversight, research and development of all programs and new initiatives for the Southeast region. These initiatives include the maintenance and expansion of the existing programs (Single Parent Family, Out-patient Therapy, Elevate Mentoring) grant proposals, development of other needed community-based services and pursuing other program development opportunities. Responsible for the supervision and oversight of the above-mentioned programs and personnel. Essential Job Functions
  • Supervise program managers/supervisors/coordinators in assigned area (Single Parent Family, Out-patient Therapy, Elevate Mentoring).
  • Evaluate program opportunities in the described area (Southeast region).
  • Organize and implement such research and data collections processes as may be necessary for program development.
  • Participate in such management meetings as may be needed for the projects involved.
  • Communicate with the PCHAS Executive team concerning program development options.
  • Evaluate and assist in the assessment of existing programs in the area (Southeast region).
  • Facilitate communications between the programs and potential payers for services.
  • Assist with risk management and quality improvement activities related to this service.
  • Perform other duties as negotiated to meet agency goals and objectives.
  • Work with Program Directors and other staff to monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, professional standards, Strengths Model implementation, and accreditation standards.
RequirementsMust have a master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a closely related discipline.Minimum of three (3) years' experience in residential treatment or in-patient care for at-risk youths, or other service delivery systems to children and adolescents and their families. At least one (1) year of prior supervisory experience.Other RequirementsMust hold a valid driver's license, have and maintain a risk-free driving record. Must be willing to undergo initial and periodic child abuse/neglect, criminal history, sexual offender, and childcare/elder care disqualification list screenings. As requested, must submit fingerprints for review by the state of your employment and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
