- Advocate for addiction awareness and promote access to quality care.
- Cultivate/maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community leaders and industry professionals, also work with internal staff at treatment center and call center/admissions staff and leadership to ensure appropriate understanding of program, referral process, etc.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand reach, increase referrals and foster community engagement.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and monitor state treatment/recovery activities.
- Represent Hickory Recovery at conferences, networking events and community outreach.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred with 3+ years Business Development/Community Outreach, preference will be given to candidates with experience specifically in the addiction and/or mental health treatment field.
- Must reside in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids territory to ensure productivity and easier access to referral partners
- Possesses strong communication skills both written and verbal, time management and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, problem solve and client/customer service focused
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel daily; some overnight stays may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains adherence to HIPAA compliance in ALL communication regarding clients in treatment.
- Develops marketing campaigns and strategies for all services offered at Hickory Recovery Network
- Aids in the creation of brochures, print material, and other marketing collateral
- Assists with social media and website content and revisions
- Schedules and conducts tours with referral personnel, community partners, and industry professional
- Updates CRM daily with events, contacts, and follow-up tasks
- Researches, schedules, and attends appropriate industry-related conference, events, networking affairs, and other community functions
- Professional appearance, both in-person and via telephone
- Organizes and executes meetings and presentations with industry influencers, connectors, and referral sources
- Makes cold and warm calls and visits to organizations, including but not limited to: hospitals, detox facilities, private practices, sober living homes, jails, probation departments, MAT clinics and DCS organizations
- Collaborates with the call center, admissions, and intake teams to ensure proper inquiry follow-up
- Tracks conversion rates and adjusts marketing strategy accordingly
Experience:
- Business Development: 3 years required
- Preference for experience in addiction and/or mental health treatment
- Preference for a having a good understanding of the Iowa market and referral base
