Full job descriptionPosition SummaryAdvantage Care Group, is a company based in the Poconos Mountains, Pennsylvania, dedicated to supporting kids, adolescents, and teens from foster care homes by providing alternative education, life skills, and various supportive programs such as transitional living programs, teen mother-baby programs, and group homes. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social welfare professional to work in the capacity of Regional Director and oversee and expand our outreach efforts across all 67 counties in the state.Key Responsibilities :Leadership and ManagementLead and manage a team of program coordinators and outreach specialists.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organisational goals and objectives.Ensure compliance with state regulations and standards for foster care and educational programs.Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary.Outreach and CollaborationEstablish and maintain relationships with county officials, foster care agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.Conduct presentations and meetings to persuade county representatives to partner with Advantage Care Group.Negotiate contracts and agreements with county authorities for the assignment of kids, adolescents, and teens to our programs.Program Development and ImplementationOversee the development and implementation of alternative education and life skills programs.Ensure that all programs meet the diverse needs of the children and teens in our care.Coordinate with program staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.Advocacy and Public RelationsAdvocate for the needs and rights of foster children and teens at local and state levels.Represent Advantage Care Group at conferences, workshops, and community events.Develop and implement public relations strategies to raise awareness about the organisation's services.Financial ManagementPrepare and manage the regional budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.Secure funding and resources through grants, donations, and partnerships.Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.Reporting and DocumentationPrepare and submit regular reports on program performance, outreach efforts, and financial status.Maintain accurate records and documentation for all programs and initiatives.Ensure timely and accurate data collection and analysis to inform decision-making.QualificationsMaster's degree in Social Work, Education, Public Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within social services, foster care, or educational programs.Strong understanding of the foster care system and the challenges faced by children and teens in foster care.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop and maintain partnerships with government agencies and community organisations.Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.Financial management skills, including budget preparation and resource allocation.Ability to travel extensively within the state of Pennsylvania.SkillsStrategic planning and organisational developmentLeadership and team managementAdvocacy and public speakingFinancial and budget managementProgram development and evaluationStrong written and verbal communicationNegotiation and conflict resolutionRelationship building and networkingBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of foster children and teensProfessional development and training opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative work environmentAdvantage Care Group is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
