The individual will work to qualify bid opportunities, and prepare bids for windows, siding, and roofing materials. The individual will partner with sales team to finalize bids that will be presented to GCs, Builders, and Owners. The individual will be responsible for supporting multiple locations by accurately creating proposals and completing job packs (by entering project orders into the AS/400, Windows Express, and Salesforce systems).KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepare a detailed cost analysis of labor and materials including product codes using our software estimation and calculation system of choice, PlanSwift
- Successfully create proposals and solutions-based documents with hard cost guidelines to profitably obtain project awards
- Administer and manage customer account activities through SalesForce by thoroughly and accurately maintaining documentation and 100% order entry accuracy
- Isolate potential scope shortcomings and inadequacies and provide cost-effective and value-engineered solutions
- Administer the Filing, Job Pack creation, and Materials Procurement Forecasting for ISS
- Receive and process orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain detail and accuracy in order entry and customer requests
- Assist in job scheduling and product delivery
- Record bid results for tracking and review
- Follow and execute any additional direction given by Branch Manager that will assist in obtaining overall goals and objectives of the organization
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and scopes
- Experience in performing takeoffs on blueprints, use of Stack is a plus.
- Have a good working knowledge of the AS400 and SalesForce software is a plus.
- Deadline & detail oriented
- Strong communication and follow through skills
- Work experience estimating mid to large size project work in both new construction and remodeling with a preference for windows and exterior envelope and claddings
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
