Position: General Manager - Northeastern US Territory Location: Hybrid location (Remote work generally based out of Explore Industries Millville, New Jersey Distribution Center) We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our Sales and Distribution Centers and lead our Regional Sales Managers to new heights of success. The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of our Sales and Distribution Centers. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high performance and efficiency, and driving sales growth through effective leadership of our Regional Sales Managers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, distribution, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities for a General Manager include:

  • Oversee the operations of Sales and Distribution Centers, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales performance and market expansion.
  • Work closely with our dealer network to foster strong relationships and drive mutual success.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Travel within the given region of the northeastern United States to support and manage the dealer network and sales teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing distribution centers being a plus.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the northeastern United States.
  • Experience in the pool industry preferred.
