Regional Logistics Manager - Manufacturing

Develops and executes warehouse and network strategies to support cost reduction at the manufacturing warehouse locations. Works closely with manufacturing warehouses to ensure support of annual initiatives, Evaluate Non poly warehouse analysis, suggest efficiencies and capacity recommendations for our overall strategy to include disposition of SLOB ,(Raw Materials & Non-poly). Utilizes system and process knowledge to develop, work close with and install best practices at the manufacturing warehouses to drive improvements to meet budget targets. Builds and analyzes data to define, recommend, and then install network wide solution at the manufacturing warehouses. Supports SAP/ BY training and upgrade implementation across locations as needed.

We will consider someone working out of state for the right experience, but travel requirements may increase.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and executes warehouse and network strategies to support cost reduction for inbound logistics.
• Evaluate distribution analysis, suggest efficiencies and capacity recommendations for our overall strategy.
• Works closely with Pactiv warehouses to ensure support of annual initiatives.
• Manages and directs optimization teams in Lake Forest.
• Utilizes system and process knowledge to develop and install productivity improvements to meet AOP targets.
• Builds and analyzes data to define, recommend, and then install network wide solutions.
• Collaborates and liaisons with Pactiv to manage and optimize annual warehousing expense and transportation expense.
• Builds and supports plans to implement network optimization and product deployment plans.
• Works closely with other functions/departments.
• Recommends and presents network strategies to all levels of management.
• Support SAP training and upgrade implementation across several Value Streams.
• Interfaces indirectly and potentially directly with customers.
• Manages customer facing supply chain service and cost performance.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree Required
• MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of multi-function supply chain experience.
• Travel 25-30%.
• Significant experience with supply chain analytical work.
• Experience presenting and recommending solutions to business leaders.
• Warehouse operations management experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail business process knowledge ideally in current 10+ years of multi-function supply chain experience.
• Ability to gain consensus across multi-functional areas.
• Capability to work closely with Pactiv personnel at all levels.
• Flexible with dealing with change.
• Experience in LES and SAP systems.
