You have experience supporting high-volume stores, managing loss prevention and safety programs, developing tools and techniques for fraud and illegal act prevention, deterrence, detection and investigation.
What You'll Do:
- Develop pro-active programs that protect the Company's assets by reducing and preventing any type of Company loss.
- Responsible for overseeing CAPRI Store Operational Audit Program
- Maintain a safe working environment in Stores.
- Thorough use of Exception Based Reporting software to mitigate risk.
- Initiate and coordinate internal theft investigations and successfully bring to a conclusion.
- Develop and execute proper case management and store incident reports.
- Consistently analysis accidents and make cogent suggestions to improve safety. Follow up on all reported accidents including thorough review and preservation of video
- Create strong Loss Prevention Awareness among all Associates.
- Help foster a culture of honesty through positive communications and messaging.
- Work closely with Sales Audit to develop policies and procedures to better detect, report and resolve internal theft events.
- Work closely with Business Partners to train and develop Store, District and Regional Directors in all areas of Loss Prevention.
- Liaise with local Law Enforcement partners and peer Security Departments in the pursuit of internal and external case resolution.
- Resolve confidential Hotline calls within a timely manner
- Build and maintain good relationships with all levels of Retail Store Operations, Distribution, Accounts Payable, Sales Audit, Internal Audit, IT, Human Resources, Construction, Inventory Control, and other departments.
You'll Need to Have:
- Must have a working knowledge of security equipment, policies and procedures.
- Minimum 7 years general retail Loss Prevention experience with at least 2 years in multi-store leadership experience or high-volume department store experience.
- Minimum 7 years experience in Interview and Interrogation techniques with full knowledge of all applicable laws.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize/multitask
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
- Certified in Wicklander-Zulawski interview and interrogation techniques.
- Moderate-High travel required.
