Role and Responsibilities: The Regional Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all Federal, State, and Private contracts across various regions in the United States. This position entails managing contract renewals, negotiations, and issue resolutions while actively identifying and cultivating new opportunities. The primary focus is to ensure the successful execution of contracts and contribute to organizational growth.
  • Serve as a key liaison to ensure contract compliance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management strategy, including resource allocation, systems integration, and financial planning, aligning it with the organization's annual business plan and long-term strategy.
  • Build relationships and trust with team members across multiple organizations and companies to ensure short-term and long-term business needs are delivered
  • Set clear expectations for all operations employees and ensure those expectations are met
  • Champion change management in the areas of safety, environmental stewardship, and productivity
  • Implement / utilize processes that enable employees to realize their full productive potential in support of the organization's goals
  • Provide leadership to technical and non-technical team members through coaching, development and accountability
  • Establish and maintain systems for setting standards, implementing best practices, and measuring performance against established benchmarks.
  • Monitor and manage performance to maintain high-quality standards, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and integrate them into the internal quality management systems.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication strategies to enhance awareness of quality-related matters across all departments.
  • Plan and manage departmental activities within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Provide timely reports on changes in standards and performance against these standards.
  • Manage staff according to company standards, including performance appraisals, discipline, training, and development.
  • Monitor departmental performance against targets, budgets, and compliance with policies and standards.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned region and contribute to nationwide project development.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards and procedures.
  • Implement safety training programs for employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Regularly inspect work areas, identify safety hazards, and take immediate corrective actions.
  • Conduct thorough accident/incident/near-miss investigations and institute preventive measures.
  • Hold employees accountable for compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain equipment in safe operating condition and ensure safety safeguards are in place.
  • Ensuring rigorous compliance with all contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading and inspiring a diverse team to achieve contract goals and objectives.
  • Identifying and proactively mitigating risks associated with contract performance.
  • Managing budgets effectively to ensure the efficient use of resources and maximize profitability.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited and reputable institution.
  • Masters in business administration (Preferred).
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Project Management or related fields.
  • Minimum of four (4) years' Supervisory experience.
  • Experience overseeing contracts and/or government contracts in excess of 5 million dollars.
