Job Description:
Regional Manager - DEERS/RAPIDS ID Cards Fort Knox, KYStrategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001:2015 Certified, CMMI Maturity Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 35 years' experience in the Federal, military, and commercial marketplaces. Overview: Responsible for the supervision of the 120+ ID Card operators at 63 geographically dispersed locations across the United States. Responsible for ensuring 100% staffing at each site and backfilling positions with part-time on call ID Card operators to ensure continuity of ID Card services during times of planned and unplanned absences. Responsible for the management of ID Card operations ensuring accountability, control, verification, and issuance of military identification cards and Common Access Cards (CAC) for active-duty military, Reserve and National Guard members, military retirees, family members, and dependents, and other eligible recipients. Also serves as the Deputy Program Manager and backfills the Program Manager when she is absent. The Regional Manager works at Fort Knox, Kentucky in the Army Project Office. Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Monitors daily attendance of Fort Knox and 120+ onsite employees. Submits a daily attendance report to the Program Manager and Government.
  • Reviews and approves employee timesheets.
  • Interviews candidates to fill open positions.
  • Completes requisition forms for employee hiring actions, separation forms for employee terminations, and change forms for transfers/personnel status changes.
  • Identifies part time on call ID Card operators to backfill full-time ID Card operators during times of planned and unplanned absences.
  • Ensures all employees complete their mandatory training on time. Follows up with those that are delinquent in completing the training.
  • Manages and authorize travel requests for employees traveling to ID Card facilities for coverage or assessments. Review and approve travel expense reports.
  • Assists the Program Manager to ensure issuance of ID Cards, Common Access Cards (CAC), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), CAC related equipment, and program support services are performed for the Army Project Office (APO).
  • Works with the Program Manager and APO to recommend workstation relocation and activation to improve mobilization readiness. Monitor workstation equipment for future funding input and allocation.
  • Elevates and communicates performance issues to the Program Manager.
  • Interacts with daily with onsite Government POCs and employees.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in DEERS/RAPIDS ID Card support. Must be familiar with DEERS/RAPIDS/CAC policies and procedures.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience supporting projects of similar size and scope.
  • The ability to work at an accelerated pace and manage a geographically disperses workforce.
  • Obtain a favorable criminal background check and security investigation.
  • US Citizen.
  • Proficient in English, both written and oral.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and Internet Explorer 7 or above.
  • Proficient in the use of basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners.
  • Must successfully complete RAPIDS certification within seven business days after being hired.
  • Type 25 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with the military is desirable.
