Responsibilities/Qualifications:

For over 35 years, Parallel has been dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to seniors in our communities. We manage a network of top-quality senior living facilities throughout Michigan, and we are looking for a dedicated nurse to join our dynamic team.
Duties also include:
- Set up medications as prescribed by physician
- Medication audits
- Provide phone support regularly to supervisors, med techs and caregivers
- Implement our training program
- Conduct rounds to observe residents and to ensure nursing and restorative needs are being met
- Admit, transfer and discharge residents as necessary
- Assist on the floor as needed
- Consult with physicians in planning resident care, treatment, rehabilitation and change of condition
Requirements:
- Current license to practice as an LPN or RN in Michigan
- Current CPR certification
- Valid drivers license and insurance on vehicle
- Basic computer skills; experience utilizing electronic charting desired
- Able to drive up to 75% of the time
