Develops and implements consistent procedures and throughput within the Parts department; automates as many processes as practical.Essential Duties:* Communicate effectively with all departments within the dealership to maintain and foster a team spirit through cooperation and mutual respect.* Assists in hiring, training, and motivating Parts Managers, including creation and administration of appropriate compensation plans. Responsible for Parts Manager development, including interactive supervision, professional managing and motivational skills and local marketing.* Assists Parts Managers with the preparation and administration of an annual operating budget, including goals and objectives for each department.* Monitors performance of individual Parts departments using appropriate reports, tracking systems and surveys. Analyzes sales, costs and expenses to maintain/surpass profitability goals.* Assists Parts Managers in hiring, training and motivating strong, qualified department employees.* Assists Parts Managers in creating annual training plans by OEM and employee. Schedules in-house training.* Works to resolve customer disputes when necessary.* Assists in establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.* Acts as the liaison with OEM Parts representatives.* Identifies inconsistent practices and procedures within and between locations; then develops and implements consistent procedures and throughput within the departments.* Identifies tasks that can be automated within the dealer business system and works with IT to automate those tasks, leaving more time for Parts department employees to Keep Customers on the Road. * Other duties as requested and needed.* Communicate effectively with all Parts employees.* Attends meetings as needed.* Assists Parts Managers in maintaining professional appearance of facilities.* Maintains personal professional appearance.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:* Valid Driver's License* Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screeningBergey's is an equal opportunity employer.
