The Regional manager holds responsibility for the operational, financial and managerial performance of multi-family properties. The ideal candidate is organized and motivated, has exceptional customer service skills, and is comfortable with creating and reviewing analytical reports. Job Description includes but is not limited to:
- Manages several locations or offices, and operations in multiple states.
- Develop the annual operating budget and marketing plans.
- Review financial statements, community activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity, and goal achievement and to determine areas needing improvement.
- Maintain Community Websites
- Resolve any resident issues and complaints.
- Executes business strategies and conducts presentations for stakeholders
- Supervises staff, coordinates with departments, attends meetings, and prepares reports
- Conducts training sessions, motivates employees, and collaborates with managers to ensure effective operations
Skills Required:
- Must be able to travel to assigned properties
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and ability to learn various other software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as lease agreements, safety rules and other related documents
- Advanced knowledge of Fair Housing and Labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to organize events and make effective sales presentations
- Ability to handle moderate to high levels of stress and deal with unforeseen situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage moderate to high levels of stress.
Preferred but not mandatory: bachelors degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field (OR equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in property management, preferably with a focus on multifamily buildings.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and local market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws, lease agreements, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in property management softwares, preferably Yard and MS Office suite.
