Position Overview: The Regional Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our Los Angeles multifamily portfolio. This role involves strategic planning, financial oversight, team leadership, and delivering an exceptional resident experience to support the company's growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Develop and implement property management strategies to achieve company objectives. Oversee daily operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and resident services. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of property managers and support staff. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets to ensure financial targets are met. Analyze financial performance metrics and implement cost control measures. Drive leasing efforts and establish rental pricing strategies to maximize occupancy rates. Review and prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. Resident Experience: Deliver an exceptional lifestyle by ensuring properties meet modern renters' needs. Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance the resident experience. Ensure prompt and professional response to resident needs and concerns. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residents and local communities. Represent the company at industry events and in community interactions. Oversee the administration of property management operations and ensure all reporting requirements are met. Innovation and Sustainability: Utilize technology to enhance property management processes. Implement sustainable practices to improve operational efficiency. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continually improve service offerings. Personnel Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage property management staff, ensuring compliance with company policies. Set quarterly and annual goals, incentive structures, and KPIs for team members. Motivate and lead the team to achieve excellence. Leasing and Operations: Develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies to attract and retain residents. Manage lease negotiations, rent collections, and all aspects of property maintenance. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety rules and regulations. Engage the team in the companys safety program and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (Masters preferred). Minimum of 8 years of property management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in managing multiple properties and driving operational excellence. Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget management and financial analysis. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional resident experiences. Proficiency in property management software, with knowledge of Yardi preferred. Professional certifications such as CPM or CAM are highly desirable. Experience in affordable housing and knowledge of local housing regulations and fair housing laws. Must have a reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
