JOB PURPOSE:
Develop local and regional recruiting strategies to fulfill company staffing needs. Maintain relationships with internal and external customers to ensure staffing goals are achieved. Lead staffing efforts in the region and build a strong workforce that adds to the company's bottom line.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education and Certifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organizational behavior, or a related field, from an accredited university. Training and experience in lieu of education may be considered.
Preferred: Current and maintained SHRM or HRCI certification.
Experience
Required: 1+ year in an HR role with strong recruiting responsibilities
Preferred: 3+ years in proactive recruiting role in the construction industry
Functional / Technical Competency Requirements:
Required: MS Office software, especially Excel and Outlook. Comfortable learning all necessary software programs and business processes. Build and maintain high-level professional relationships within the company and industry. Effective communication with executives, middle-level managers, employees, job applicants and the general public. Interact well with people of diverse backgrounds, knowing how to represent the company in a positive manner. Solid judgment and analytical abilities.
Preferred: Advanced MS Excel skills.
