Agile is seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to join our IT Professional Services team, focusing on Cloud and AI Solutions.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between clients and our engineering team, clearly articulating our value proposition while identifying the technical needs of potential clients. This role demands a strong technical background, consultative selling skills, and the ability to foster lasting relationships with enterprise clients.
Background and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Business with a strong technical focus.
- MBA (optional but beneficial for strategic market development).
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales for technology services, preferably in cloud computing, AI, or IT consulting.
- Proven track record of selling technical solutions, such as SaaS platforms, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), or AI tools.
- Experience working with enterprise clients, particularly in industries like biotech, healthcare, e-commerce, and finance, which dominate the Boston-Cambridge market.
Technical Expertise:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI concepts (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics, natural language processing).
- Ability to understand and explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies
Sales Skills:
- Exceptional consultative selling ability, focusing on understanding client needs and positioning Agile Solutions' offerings as the ideal solution.
- Strong relationship-building skills, particularly with decision-makers like CTOs, CIOs, and procurement heads.
Technical Skills:
- Comfort with discussing and demonstrating technical concepts and solutions.
- Capable of collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver client-focused proposals.
Market Development:
- Skilled at market research and prospecting to identify potential clients in the region (e.g., Akamai, Wayfair, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, etc.).
- Ability to tailor pitches for industries like healthcare, biotech, and e-commerce.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Confidence in handling complex, high-value contracts, including multi-stage negotiations.
- Experience in managing long sales cycles, particularly for enterprise solutions.
Adaptability:
- Comfortable navigating dynamic and evolving markets in AI and cloud engineering.
- Quick learner who can keep pace with technological advancements.
Key Responsabilities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients in Boston and Cambridge, focusing on industries like healthcare, biotech, and e-commerce.
- Educate potential clients about Agile Solutions' Cloud and AI engineering services, positioning the company as a trusted partner for digital transformation.
- Work closely with technical teams to design tailored solutions and present them effectively to clients.
- Establish long-term relationships with key accounts, aiming to secure preferred vendor or technology partnerstatus.
- Provide feedback to internal teams about market trends and client needs to refine service offerings.
