Job Description:

A Regional Sales Manager for the Industrial Equipment Industry is being recruited who possesses professional and leadership qualities and has sales experience. The Regional Sales Manager will handle all aspects of the sales department and oversee the sales team. You will also provide leadership for all territory sales resources and direct sales activities with a primary focus on team sales performance, individual sales target achievement, sales resource development, business development activities and local level key account responsibilities. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to review and direct pricing policies, oversee the renewal of contracts and obtain new contracts. The qualified candidate for this position will also have the opportunity to research market and competitive information and provide insights for improvement within the company.

Position includes:

  • $95,000-$110,000 salary
  • First year with commission = $125,000-$150,000
  • Maintain a home office

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years experience managing a sales team - service related sales or operations
  • Experience with Industrial Equipment is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Well-developed people skills
  • A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; PC skills.

Principal Responsibilities Include:

  • Direct and manage the sales efforts of the existing sales staff-team of 10 sales reps
  • Oversee and train all branch and territory personnel on the CRM tool
  • Weekly coaching sessions with all sales resources
  • Administer the target marketing programs and determine the sales strategies for specific accounts.
  • Develop and mentor the existing sales resources.
  • Recruit and treating Sales reps
  • Participate in monthly management meetings to review the status of the business.
  • Jointly responsible for ensuring the service operations are providing quality services.
  • Oversee the resolution of all customer complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and in the best interest of the company.
  • Participate in the renewal of annual contracts after sufficient efforts have been made by the inspectors.
  • Participate in annual and strategic business development issues.
  • Provide market and competitive information periodically.
  • Hiring and firing decisions of sales personnel, in coordination with the Regional Manager.
  • Resolve credit or billing problems that have not been able to be solved.
