DescriptionRegional Student and Family Services ManagerRole Mission:As a member of the Regional Leadership Team, the Regional Manager of Student and Family Services will oversee their region's crisis and mental health supports, student persistence strategy, Social Emotional Learning curriculum implementation, and family engagement and support services. The Regional Manager of Student and Family Services will drive this work by working closely with their regional Executive Director, Regional Director of Operations, two Executive Principals and be the liaison with community partners. This role will also receive coaching and support from the National Student Performance and Advocacy team to ensure alignment between national and regional priorities.This leader must be a self-starter, a seasoned and innovative project manager, possess strong communications skills, and a proven ability to solve problems across different scopes of work to drive performance within the region. This team member will be co-managed by two Executive Principals and supported by the National Student Support Services Team. The Regional Manager will be responsible for attending all nationally led trainings and communicate the learning and expectations back to the regional and campus teams.Compensation & Benefits:Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $66,600 and $80,600, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on organizational performance and goal attainment.   • Cultivate and collaborate with business partners to execute persistence vision and strategy for region alongside National Student Support Services Team
  • Designs and delivers high quality training tools and resources to support portfolio of campuses in meeting their persistence goals through the point people designated by the Executive Principals
  • Partner with each Executive principal to be the accountability and feedback partner to campus lead teams to implement student persistence district expectations (Withdrawal process, Coding, Mission List implementation, etc.)
  • Ensures 100% of campuses in portfolio meet deadlines for processes through the school year related to persistence
  • Tracks and reports data for persistence on a weekly basis to schools in portfolio
  • Completes weekly auditing of data and reports wins and challenges to regional lead team and Executive Principals
  • Partners with Regional Director of Operations to manage Assistant Principals of Operations and Enrollment Coordinators to ensure 100% of new families are on-boarded and engaging in their first year at IDEA
  • Trains Grade Team Leaders to manage and monitor the Mission List for all grade levels at both campuses
  • Reports out on the Mission List at both campus lead team tactical meetings- invests and holds campus lead team accountable to next steps
  • Coordinates support and provides guidance for campus mental health and social emotional crises and critical incidents.
  • Acts as liaison between schools and local health organizations. Supports with implementation of Tier 2/3 counseling service coordination on campuses
  • Leads the campus beginning of year and on-going professional development to school leaders, teachers, and staff to build the skills of implementing Move this World
  • Completes weekly observations at both schools WITH school lead team to provide feedback on the implementation of MTW and culture expectations.
  • Leads training for school leaders and staff on positive behavior interventions and trauma informed practices
  • Leads the management of community providers that support students at both schools
  • Leverages operating mechanisms and business partnerships with principals and regional leaders to effectively execute and monitor SEL practices schoolwide
  • Regularly conducts needs assessments and satisfaction surveys of SSAs, SCs, and SWs. Creates strategic plans based on data to support staff needs.
  • Carries a caseload of specific students at each school to remain in practice and engage deeply with students with high needs
  • Manages portfolio of campuses to meet the goal of 100% of new families participate in full on-boarding process.
  • Provides interventions and partnership to priority campuses who are below the benchmarks.
  • Ensures 100% of campuses in portfolio meet deadlines for processes through the school year related to persistence.
  • Tracks and reports data for persistence on a weekly basis to schools in portfolio.
  • Establishes and maintains regional partnerships with community organizations, resources, and supports to increase capacity of wraparound services for students and families.
  • Trains 100% of School Crisis Teams and manages execution in the region in partnership with Regional Director of Operations.
  • Manages campuses to host the mandatory 4 family engagement events in the academic year and 100% of schools are in compliance for submitting documentation (Title 1).
  • Drives regional implementation of Panorama Social Emotional Learning Survey to ensure 75% of students complete both survey windows.
  • Drives regional implementation of the Panorama Teacher Career Pathway survey to ensure 50% of families complete survey.
  • Drives regional implementation for 100% of campuses to implement anti-bullying and sexual abuse prevention curricula.
  • 90% of campuses implement trauma informed teaching practices training for school staff.
  • Provides coaching and support to school leaders and support staff to ensure 90% of school counselors and social workers meet direct service hour requirements.
  • Maintains 100% compliance with state and regional mental health and SEL guidelines.
Required Experience:
  • Master's degree required, Social Work, Counseling, School Counseling, or related field preferred
Preferred Experience
  • Mental Health License or Counseling Certification preferred
  • Experience in school setting
Goals:As a member of the Regional Team, you will work towards achieving the following goals:
  • Leads regional and school-wide efforts so that their region earns an A on the Student and Family Services Report Card
  • Partner with Regional Director of Operations to drive family engagement practices for New to IDEA families to ensure 90% of new students persist into the next school year.
  • Coaches campus-based staff so that 90% of schools meet Social Emotional Learning Curriculum fidelity expectations (Defined as lead facilitators direct instruction 3 days a week)
  • Collaborates with cross functional regional leaders to drive family engagement practices on campus level towards 90% student persistence.
