Job Description : We are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing Behavior Support Department in Birmingham, Alabama. As an RBT, you will work under the close supervision of BCBAs to deliver behavior-analytic services and collaborate with intellectually disabled adults, their families, direct service professionals, and other team members to teach prosocial replacement behaviors for aggression, self-injury, and other dangerous behaviors. Key Responsibilities : Assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of BCBAs. Engage with BCBAs during regular supervision. Assist with graphing and other documentation of behavior and psychiatric symptoms. Participate in department meetings, journal club (research discussions), grand rounds (clinical case discussions), and other meetings and trainings. Education Requirement : 4-year College Degree in a human service field (psychology, counseling, special education, social work, criminal or juvenile justice, sociology, speech education, rehabilitation, speech pathology, audiology, nursing, or physical or occupational therapy). Experience Requirement : At least one year of experience working directly with intellectually disabled people. Physical Requirements : Frequent standing, walking, hand dexterity, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and listening. Occasional sitting. Lifting and moving more than 50 pounds. Near and far vision with depth perception. Benefits : Competitive pay up to $21 per hour, depending on experience. $1,000 sign-on bonus.
