Job SummaryUnder the supervision of BCBA, the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing clinical supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and implementation of behavior support plans developed by the clinical supervisor and in collaboration with the classroom teacher. The RBT may collect data and conduct certain types of assessments (e.g., stimulus preference assessments)Requirements / Qualifications•High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field preferred •Two years' experience in a school setting, working with students with behavior challenges (including students with Autism, SED and other developmental disabilities) •Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification, including annual renewal and registration •CPR and CPI certification •Valid California driver's license
