ABA School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring immediately for full-time, school-based ABA Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in Methuen, MA, and the surrounding areas to support student cases in a school setting.

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with students with special needs to help them learn more effectively, academically, and socially through play. Under the supervision of our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), you will deliver a curriculum that has been determined as appropriate and ideal from formal assessments, and proven effective, from over 70 years of scientifically evidenced research. Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Job Duties

* Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children diagnosed with Autism, conducting sessions in various settings such as their homes, schools, or within the community.

* Work under the guidance of a program supervisor, instructing clients on essential skills such as communication, play, socialization, and fostering greater independence. In addition, ABA Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) assist in addressing challenging behaviors.

* Duties also include collecting, organizing, and summarizing behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.

* Adhere to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) code of Ethics (

* Attend trainings and maintain effective knowledge of identified qualifications/competencies listed below:

* Assimilating and carrying out direction from supervising behavior analyst for therapy and data collection

* Providing effective behavior evidence-based treatments

* Collecting unbiased and accurate data during therapy sessions

* Proactively communicating with supervising behavior analyst for questions and feedback

* Maintaining reliable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance

* Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl and use hands and arms frequently.

* 6-month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.

Requirements

* Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Availability during school hours from 8:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday

* Additional hours include being available during after-school hours from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and open to weekends and holidays

* Preferred one year experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy
