Register Behavior Technician (RBT) Position Overview: As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role requires direct interaction with children, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to improve their social, communication, and adaptive skills.

Register Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Record and collect data on each client's progress and behavior.
  • Provide consistent positive reinforcement for appropriate behaviors.
  • Assist clients in developing functional skills to promote independence.
  • Maintain regular communication with BCBAs, parents, and team members.
  • Attend ongoing training and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain RBT certification and meet all training requirements.

Register Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working with children with ASD is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
  • Ability to follow behavior plans and data collection procedures accurately.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for in-home services).
  • Ability to pass a background check
