Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings. About the Role We are looking for a proactive employee to provide 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs, and provide support to their families. Responsibilities include:
- Understanding & implementing individualized Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs
- Collecting data on individualized ABA program
- Completing a BCAB approved RBT course and maintaining current registration
- Instructing participants and their family in home programs and protocols
Education & Experience High school diploma/GED required. Registered Behavior Technician certification, preferred. Experience working with children with a disability, preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required. Basic word processing and e-mail skills, required. Conditions of EmploymentMust possess a valid driver's license and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
