Job Summary Responsible for day-to-day maintenance on company equipment consisting of preventative maintenance, HM 183 Hazmat Tanker Testing, minor to major repairs to trailers. Essential Duties: Perform HM183 tank testing including VIK (Visual, Internal, Leakage), Thickness & Upper Coupler, Lining Inspections and Pressure testing on Liquid Tankers. The job will also require doing DOT inspections and associated repairs on trailers. Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of company equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic. Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions Performs P.M. inspections to ensure DOT requirements are met Performs other tasks/projects as instructed by VP of Fleet Maintenance Complete required documentation associated with repairing/testing performed on vehicles and documenting parts usage. Assures compliance with all appropriate safety rules and regulations. Requirements: Must have valid proof of CT experience Must have valid state issued identification Minimum 3 Years Experience Salary Description: Earn up to $41 per hour, based on skill level/experience.
