Our staff enjoys competitive compensation and group benefits including group health, dental, vision, life/AD&D and a 401(k) savings plan.SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary duty of the Registered Dental Assistant is assist in the overall delivery of care and to be an integral part of the patient care team by consistently delivering the most memorable and fun service experience possible for every patient, every day in every office.Specific ResponsibilitiesPrepare office with daily opening and closing dutiesPrepare treatment area for patient by following procedures and protocolsPrepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating patientAssist the doctors during treatment proceduresPerform dental infection control proceduresTake x-raysEducate patients about oral hygiene and their childs oral healthPerform all lab related proceduresPerform cleaningsHand off patient at check -outComplete care calls and thank you cardsAssist in managing and controlling supply inventoryDocument dental care services by charting in patient recordsMaintain strict compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board)Maintain safe and clean working environmentOther duties as assignedDesired BackgroundMust have current and active state certified RDA licenseUpbeat personality is a MUSTLoves working with childrenPatient focused, team playerExcellent customer service skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailClean, neat professional appearanceKnowledge of Dentrix a plus
