Job Type : Full-time. (Perm) Shifts : Days (Mon- Fri / 7 am - 3 pm or 8 am - 4 pm / One weekend per month). Healthcare setting: Nursing Home.Summary: The Facility is located in Franklin Square, NY . Facility is looking for the candidates who can Assist the food services staff in the development and use of departmental procedures governing food service activities, equipment, supplies, etc. Be responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and filing material safety data sheets (MSDSs) for hazardous chemicals used or stored in the Food Services Department. Ensure staff is trained in the use of MSDSs. Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., to assure control of equipment and supplies. Experience/License/Certification: Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university. Must have, as a minimum,1 year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility. Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as a dietitian in this state . Must have training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc. Specific Requirements.
