Asbury Solomons is proud to hold EAGLE accreditation from the United Methodist Association of Health & Welfare Ministries.Come join our team that continues the legacy of serving seniors at the only Nationally Accredited Waterfront Community in Southern Maryland.Schedule & CompensationPart Time, 16 hours weeklyDay shift $38.25 - $40.70/hourJob DescriptionPerform medical nutrition therapy assessments on residents in order to address acute and chronic conditions.Educate residents on therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions to improve outcomes and quality of life.Work collaboratively with nursing, dietary manager, speech language pathologist, physicians and nurse practitioners to deliver appropriate individualized nutritional therapy including therapeutic diets, oral nutrition supplements and texture-modified diets.Monitor and assess residents with weight changes, enteral feeding, dialysis and wounds.Manages the development and implementation plan for nutrition intervention in accordance with the Nutrition Care Process.Provides nutrition counseling for individuals, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needsQualificationsBachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred in Dietetics or related field.Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential, required. State Dietitian licensure, required. 2 - 4 years of related experience.
