We are a high-end mental health clinic with office locations in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Glendale, Arizona. We provide face-to-face and telepsychiatry services at the clinics and to patients in multiple other organizations, rehabilitation centers, and detox facilities throughout Arizona. SMHWI is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist to join our team. Interested candidates must have experience, and must be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally. Requirements Job Description: Assessment and Treatment Planning: Providers assess clients' mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crises that may arise during therapy sessions or in the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any other required documentation. Collaboration: Work closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and provide a holistic approach to treatment. Education and Support: Educate clients about mental health, coping mechanisms, and strategies for maintaining mental well-being. Offer support and encouragement throughout the treatment process. Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or a related field. Licensing: Must be a licensed registered dietitian or nutritionist in AZ. Experience: Previous experience in mental health counseling, especially in an intensive outpatient setting, is preferred. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is also important. Empathy and Compassion: Given the nature of the work, a high level of empathy and compassion is crucial to connect with clients and provide effective therapeutic support.
