This is a great chance to utilize your skills in the patients' own setting!Position Highlights:Quality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life convergeAdvancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career developmentWork/Life: Positions and shifts to accommodate all schedulesWhat you will do:Work with an interdisciplinary team to assist patients and their families in dietary needs for optimal health.ResponsibilitiesWork one on one with patients and families in their home setting or per televisit which allows you to customize their diets.Educate patients (and their families) on specialized diet and assist in weight management YYou may have the opportunity to work with MDs and outside agencies for pts with enteral feeding and TPN.Patients are referred following a hospitalization, inpatient rehab stay or by their physicians.What you will need:Bachelor Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics (Didactic Program for Dietetics).Registered Dietitian Certification with New York State is preferred.
