Are you a Registered Dietitian (RD) ready to impact the life of patients in a Long Term Care and Rehab facility?

The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team. This 189-bed facility is looking for a hard working and energized Registered Dietitian (RD) to help manage the nutrition needs of their short term, long term, Palliative Care and feeding tube residents while proudly serving their diverse community health-care needs.

Registered Dietitian (RD) Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition the successful candidate will:

  • Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments
  • Providing nutrition counseling and education for residents and family
  • Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents
  • Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process
  • Possess the ability to creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
  • Rotating holidays and weekend work required

Registered Dietitian (RD) Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible (with DI Verification Statement)
  • Comfortable with enteral nutrition
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations a plus

Salary: up to $85,000 annually
