Minimum Qualifications Open to the Public: Licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State. Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration.
Duties Description Participate in nursing activities, including the preparation, evaluation, and implementation of nursing care plans to ensure quality patient care
Act as health liaison
Coordinate and schedule medical follow-up, including completion of consultations.
Provide first aid and emergency nursing care.
Monitor and order pharmaceutical supplies for each individual
Attend team reviews and present information, as needed
Meet documentation requirement i.e. obtaining & transcribing physicians' orders, daily nursing note, health charts, medication regimen reviews and case review summaries.
Provide medication administration
Maintain inventory standards for medication, controlled substances, medical supplies.
Participate in staff training
Prepare clinical and administrative reports

Additional Comments Salary Schedule for the position is as follows:
$110,442-$119,169 - Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 18, Geographic Differential ($35,000), and Mid-Hudson Adjustment ($1,513).
Shift differential applies four or more hours between 4pm-12am; and inconvenience pay applies to those who work four or more hours between 6PM and 6AM:]
Employees hired for this shift (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm) will qualify for a shift differential (+$3620.) and inconvenience pay (+$575).

Background Investigation Requirements:

Prospective employees whose names appear on the SEL as having been found responsible for serious or repeated acts of abuse or neglect will be barred from appointment and may have their names removed from the eligible list(s) for the title(s) if applicable.
