Job DescriptionResponsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.Candidate will possess excellent assessment and organizational skills. RN to make home visits to predominantly adult and geriatric population in Union or Morris County, responsible for assessment and establishing plan of care for client in collaboration with patient, family and MD. Home care experience preferred. Wound care and IV skills helpful. Computer skills essential.Principal Accountabilities
- Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Records patient vital signs and medical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
- 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
