A world class hospital located in Paramus, NJ has an immediate need for an Registered Nurse to work in BariatricType: HC-Direct HireSchedule: Full Time (Nights) 7:00pm-7:30am (12 Hour shifts)Location: Paramus, NJSummary:To fulfill the needs of patients in a variety of age groups, their family members, and the community by performing varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.Job description and Requirements:* Ability to manage a changing work environment because of changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying.* Proven interaction and communication (oral, writing, presenting) skills to effectively communicate (oral and written) with patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and co-workers during day-to-day, stressful, and emotionally charged situations.* Demonstrated competence, clinical expertise, and sound professional judgment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with health care team members (i.e. , physicians, Rehab, Respiratory, DI, Lab, etc.) and diverse patient populations.* Ability to use effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations.* Demonstrated ability to use effective analytical and critical thinking skills to problem-solve, make clinical decisions, and respond quickly to meet patient care and departmental needs.* Attentive to details and the ability to perform work accurately, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in nursing required* Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing)* Completion of general nursing orientation* CPR certification and unit-based orientation.* BSN Required or Enrolled and willing to receive it in 2 yearsPlease email: ...@hcmmi.comPay Rate: $52.61 $59.65#LI-LJ1
