Our team at Prairie Lakes makes a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones.Assists Cardiology Physician/Advanced Practice Provider by performing direct and indirect patient care as delegated by the Medical Provider and within their scope of practice.
This is a full-time position.Wage ranges from $27.36-$43.93Other responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing the functions and coordination of the patient flow through the device clinic
- Provides direct and indirect patient care.
- Applies nursing process, critical thinking, and judgement to clinic practice.
- Prepares patient charts for upcoming visits to ensure all results are available for provide to include utilizing electronic chart history.
- Assists with cleaning of patient treatment areas.
- Restocks and orders supplies for patient treatment areas, kitchenettes, nursing station, and supply carts.
- Cleans instruments and utensils and delivers to the sterile processing department.
- Triages patient telephone calls for medical providers. Reports information to Medical Provider and directs patients as orders are received. Provides patient education/advice through direct and/or telephone contact as directed by the Medical Provider.
- Transports patients to appropriate areas
- Performs medication administration and technical skills within their scope of practice
- Coordinates and assists with discharge instructions, follow-up care, diagnostic testing, procedures, and medication instructions.
- Performs insurance Prior Authorizations.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications - Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse Program Holds or is eligible for current licensure in the State of South Dakota and Minnesota.
- CPR required and must be eligible for (ACLS)
