Job Description:
- Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- 12 hour nights
- 36 hours
- Locals welcome
- NY license in hand required
- BLS, ACLS
- 1+years exp required
- 16 beds on unit
- Registered Nurse ratio - 1:2
- Adult patient population
- Every third weekend required
- Common patient diagnosis: Cardiac procedures, cardiac and thoracic surgeries, IABP, Impella, transvenous pacers, CRRT, paralytics, sepsis, multi-system organ failure, chronic ventilators, occasional ECMO
- Common drips/medications: levophed, all cardiac medications
- Epic charting
- Floating: may be asked to float to ICU, Telemetry, ED, and other MST units as needed
