The Registered Nurse (RN) works with a provider to provide comprehensive patient care. Patient assessment- Medical History, Current medications, Vital Signs, Height, Weight, Vision, EKG, Tympanograms, Audiograms, Assess, clean, and dress woundsAssist Provider- Pelvic exams, Minor surgeries, Colposcopies, SuturingNursing Care-with order-
- Catheterization
- Suture Removal
- Nebulizer Treatments
- Cast set up and removal
- Set up Oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and nitrous oxide
- Give injections
- Cast Set up and removal
- I.V. Therapy

- Venipuncture

Nursing Services-
- Reviews next day's schedule, making sure that all instruments are available and sterile
- Maintain supplies and equipment in patient rooms
- Patient teaching, as needed
- Completes accurate documentation
- Phones/Faxes prescriptions
- Makes Outside appointments for patients
- Maintains Log of outside appointments
- Contact patient with test results
All other duties as assigned by Nursing Manager.RequirementsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION:Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.EXPERIENCE:Prefer one year of clinical patient care.REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:Current state nursing licensure.Current CPR certificationOTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to communicate clearly and effectively: delegate and coordinate through leadership skills.Ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and educational levels; i.e. patients, families, employees, physicians, etc.CAREER PATH: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters in NursingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSExerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.WORKING CONDITIONSThis person spends 95% of their time in temperature controlled office space. The potential for exposure to bio hazardous agents or exposure to blood-borne pathogens and other potential infectious agents is medium to high. This position requires contact with patients and staff under a wide variety of circumstances.
