Description Waldo HospitalNursingReq #: 2934This is a per diem - as needed position. The Clinical Educator collaborates in meeting the education and professional development needs of clinical staff. In collaboration with Regional Education Department staff at Pen Bay Medical Center and LincolnHealth, the Clinical Educator will facilitate education/professional development programs such as new Nurse Residency program. Support CNA and/or MA courses as lab instructor and/or clinical supervisor. Some periodic travel is required; must be available on a limited basis to work early morning and evening hours as determined by course schedule. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. 3. Experience: Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required. Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge of educational development and design preferred.
