Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.Schedule: This position is full-time, 4 days/week. Sundays off; no overnight shiftsCompensation: Pay range from $36.00-$48.00 depending on nursing and dialysis experience; experience preferredBenefits:• Paid 12-week training with preceptor• Medical, dental and vision benefits• Life and long-term care insurance provided• Paid time off including holidays, paid sick time and extended illness benefits• Retirement plans with employer contributions• Education reimbursement• Employee assistance program• Wellness program• Among othersResponsibilitiesWhat You Can Expect:* Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures• Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families• Administer and chart all prescribed medications• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews• Document required patient education efforts • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals• Assist in medication inventory maintenance• Lead a small patient care team• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed• Additional tasks as requestedQualificationsSuccessful Candidates Bring:• Excellent communication skills• Demonstrated clinical excellence• Desire to collaborate with care teams• Ability to problem solveEducation/Training:• Accredited nursing degree required• Dialysis experience not required• DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training• New graduates encouraged to applyDCI's Differentiator:Since opening the first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., our Dialysis Clinic, Inc. family has grown to be the nation's largest nonprofit dialysis provider with more than 270 locations in 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients each day.
